Life Can Be Hard - Prayers Needed

Okay so this week was great and so sad. Right after I finished emailing last week we went and taught a lesson to some investigators that are so amazing. It´s Yerli and parents (the 15 year old). Her family has passed through some really hard times, especially her dad. A few years ago his sister died of some health complications after her husband left her and his son died a year ago in a car accident. It was our first lesson with the whole family together and it was the greatest lesson I have been a part of yet. The spirit was so strong! He had so many questions and through the spirit we had all the answers. Yerli apparently bore her testimony to her parents about the Book of Mormon and taught them what we had taught her the week before about the Plan of Salvation which made everything so much better! By the end of the lesson they all said they would come to church no matter what happened and they thanked us for the lesson! It was amazing!!

Then the day after, her dad´s mom went missing. We stopped by and taught the Plan of Salvation more in depth to Rocio and prayed all together. That night they found her but she had passed away. Please pray for them, especially the dad, Theodore, he has passed through so many trials and needs the gospel so much!!! The whole family is really hurting right now and they need to know that Heavenly Father loves them!!

Also another of our investigators doesn´t have a light in her house because she can´t pay the bills. She wants to come to church but its really hard for her. Others have problems with family who won´t let them attend or health issues. Please pray for all of them!! They need the spirit so much in their lives to guide them in the right direction!

This week was also sort of nuts because yesterday while we were eating with the Branch president and his wife we found out that we had to speak in church. 10 minutes. We ended up having literally about 10 minutes to prepare the talks and it was so nerve-wracking! I have no doubt it was the worst talk I have ever given and that I probably made no sense. It was pretty humiliating, but just one of those humbling experiences that makes you want to work even harder, in my case, learn the language more! Hahaha

I love you all!!! Good luck in everything this week!
